#Try the Thai Massage

An ancient healing practice from 2500 years ago to unblock the energetic sen-lines. It is considered by many to be the best and most therapeutic massage. I am honored to share the gift of Thai massage in Spokane with  you. Thai massage includes the rhythmic application of slow and gentle acupressure along the energy pathways of the body.  Thai massage is more energizing and rigorous than most other forms of massage therapy. It is perfect for those who like deeper pressure. It's also called Thai Yoga massage since it is done on a cushioned mat on the floor. I use my hands, knees, legs and feet to apply pressure and move you into a series of yoga-like postures and stretches. My clients say Thai massage is like doing yoga without doing any of the work. No oil is applied, so you are fully dressed during the session. A single Thai massage session will help you release stress and relieve pain, and help you function more effectively at work and home.

60 and 90 minute sessions may be booked online. Please call or text if wanting the 2 hour session as extra time will be needed in the schedule. 

Please wear flexible comfortable athletic attire such as yoga pants or sweatpants. 

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage melts away stress. The weight of heated stones placed at specific points on your body cause the muscles to relax and soften. The hot rocks facilitate deeper relaxation by promoting increased circulation to deeper tissues. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. Oiled, smooth stones are incorporated into the massage as an extension of the therapists hands for an overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.  

Simply Swedish - Spring Sixty Minute Special

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork on a heated table. Professional draping will be used.  The Simply Swedish combines oils or lotion with a soothing array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this classic type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility. Light to medium pressure.

April and May 2024- The 60 minute Simply Swedish Massage will be $10 off the regular price of $95. Only $85 until May 31.

Ultimate Ensemble

Two hours of ultimate pampering. This unique massage combination consists of  the Spa Shimmer table massage with the Indian Head Massage. A lower leg sea salt scrub application will exfoliate and soften the feet during the session. Aromatherapy plus the enhancement of gliding, warm Himalayan Salt Stones while on the table are included. A delight for the senses. You will melt and shimmer. Please CALL or TEXT to book this session to allow for extra time needed in the schedule.

Salt Stone Bliss with a Lime Twist

Warm Himalayan massage stones glide over achy muscles to help you unwind on the heated massage table. Ultra luxurious sage and geranium butter cream softens the skin. The uplifting aromatherapy note of tropical lime lends a peaceful and calming vibe to the experience.  

Barefoot on the Beach

A floor based Barefoot massage that includes full body, broad, gliding techniques applied with the therapists feet. Using the DeepFeet Sarga Silks method to apply tensional force, it's perfect for those who love deep pressure. This service is only for existing healthy, injury free clients. Waves of Water (Lymphatic)

 (SUPER LIGHT) Waves of Water Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy  is a detoxifying treatment that aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph towards the lymph nodes through the bodies fluid compartments. Especially beneficial to  swollen areas of the body to relieve  pressure and enhance the functioning of the immune system, this technique  may  promote the balance of chemistry. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort, a natural beautifying treatment that may promote tissue regeneration to scars  and strengthened resistance to illness. 

This service is not to be confused with complete decongestive therapy provided by a doctor or physical therapist for severe lymphedema with bandaging and/or compression garments (please check with your doctor if this massage service is for you if you have serious health issues). Please do not schedule if you have an acute infection like a cold or influenza or COVID-19.

MLD massage may include work on the head and neck, axilla (armpit) sternum, abdomen, upper thigh and ankles. It is a full body treatment. The sedating and feather-light pumping pressure is well tolerated by individuals not able to receive other forms of body work. Lymphatic Drainage massage helps to stimulate the immune system to help with bronchitis, sinusitis, arthritis, acne, eczema, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and reduce pain. Manual Lymphatic Drainage allows ones own body to naturally detox and improve immune function by scavenging and getting rid of waste around inflamed tissues.

Reflexology +Chair Combo

25 minutes of seated Chair Massage followed by 25 minutes Reflexology with foot massage. A quick fix with significant results. You will remain clothed to work out knots and adhesions in the upper body during the chair massage. Then you will sit back in the recliner for the Reflexology session to induce deep relaxation, stimulate nerve function, boost circulation and increase energy. 

Foot Reflexology

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. You will remained clothed while reclining in a comfortable chair. Shimmering Palms will  also include a foot massage and heated gemstones to relieve tension in the feet themselves. Reflexology aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.

Chair Massage

A quick fix if you are short on time. Get relief with Deep Tissue and Swedish techniques in a specialized ergonomic chair. One convenience of chair massage in addition to the usual health benefits of massage, is that it is done over the clothing. Chair  massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule at an affordable price. Works out those knots and adhesions that stressed out desk workers get from answering phones and keyboarding.

Sports Massage

Brisk Russian and Western strokes are used in my Sports Massage. Anyone interested in improving their recovery from fitness activities can benefit from Sports Massage. It is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics or the weekend warrior. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term.

Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. I may use Deep Tissue work with stretching, hot towels or cupping ( with client consent as cupping may leave a mark known as a cup kiss similar to a bruise) to help you achieve your wellness goals.

Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.
